Coaching in Action

This two-day workshop is for HR/OD professionals, leaders and managers who want to take the next step in coaching their people to achieve results.  Effective Coaching is a fundamental skill to motivate and create long term behaviour change.  It also teaches people how to think, creating empowerment and resourcefulness.

On this two day workshop you will learn:

  • The belief system of effective coaches and how this positively influences the coaching outcomes
  • The key principles of holding effective coaching conversations
  • The foundation skills of coaching: how to ask powerful questions that generate insights and behaviour change; how to instantly create rapport to enable deeper conversations to take place; how to fully understand the needs and thinking of the coachee; and how to provide effective feedback.
  • A simple coaching model that provides a structure while still allowing flexibility
  • How to remove resistance and enable the coachee to move forward
  • How effective Coaches manage their own state and resourcefulness while they’re coaching

As a follow-up to this workshop each participant will receive a one-on-one coaching session with Michelle Dalley to deepen learning and application of techniques.
