What is NLP?

NLP is about creating success.  It's an exciting behavioural science that helps us understand how and why we do things the way we do.  It explains not only how our mind works but also how we can master it to achieve the outcomes we truly want.

With this understanding we can change thought patterns, fears, behaviours and beliefs that get in the way of our success.  With NLP tools we can achieve goals, improve all aspects of communication, have better relationships and be successful in all areas of our life.

NLP means:

Neuro:                   How we think and how our mind relates with our body as one system
Linguistic:             The language we use both consciously and unconsciously with ourselves and others
Programming:       How our thoughts create our behaviours or habits and how we can change them


Have you ever been in a situation where you found yourself responding in a way that wasn’t useful or that caught you by surprise?  Perhaps you have even asked yourself some of the following questions:

  • Why do I keep doing this?
  • How can I be more successful?
  • How can I feel calmer and more relaxed?
  • What’s stopping me from getting what I want?
  • How can I build my confidence and self-belief?
  • How can I let go of this habit?
  • How can I be more in control of my emotions?

Using NLP tools and techniques you can solve these challenges and enable yourself to choose how you respond, think and feel.  NLP facilitates changes rapidly; everyone is different but our experience is that we see changes occuring within 2 - 4 sessions.  We are also able to combine NLP, Time-line processes and hypnotherapy to support the change process.  Sessions typically run for 1 to 1.5 hours.  Contact us to book an appointment or to find out more.  Sessions can be held in our Wellington office or over the telephone.
